One of the objectives of our club is to provide formal and informal opportunities for members to acquire skills in hiking, mountaineering, leadership, wilderness survival, and outdoor awareness. We are investing in our membership by creating an Education Opportunity/Rebate program. This may be a limited opportunity for 2023.
We believe that members gain confidence and enthusiasm when they develop strong skills. In turn, that enthusiasm will pour out on club trips. Whether you want to learn more about navigation, belaying, avalanche safety, lead climbing, or even kayaking, you can do so with the support of the Island Mountain Ramblers.
