The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project is excited to introduce Job-A-Palooza.
This fun-filled speed-jobbing experience for participants ages 14-21 with developmental and Intellectual differences will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Center for Collaboration in Rockledge. Peer mentors will be assisting participants with disabilities learn their job task and cheer them on.
As a local business we are requesting your participation with a job skills station. Examples of different skills are setting up a table, shredding paper, collating paper, and hanging items on rack or other simple job tasks. We can also help you to design a task. You will then help judge the students and their peer mentors on the speed and quality of their performance. Participating companies will be featured in our promotions, media alerts and social media of the event. We do hope you will join us and contribute to the success of the event!
You would need to bring enough materials for a minimum of 25 students to complete your task. We also are asking our participating busineses to donate 75-100 promotional items that we can include in the students swag bags.
If you prefer to simply have an informational table to let these particpants and their parents know a little more about the programs and services you offer them, please know that this is a limited space issue and a first come first served basis. Please submit your request as early as possible for review and you will be contacted if we can accomodate your business at one of our information tables. We would also ask for the donation of promotional items for the swag bags from you as well.
As we get closer to the event we will reach out to you with additional information regarding allotted space, allowable signage, etc. Each business will have a table, chairs and electricity made available to them.
We will be providing snacks and lunch.
