• The HERBIE award is inspired by St. Paul native and hockey legend Herb Brooks, who embodied the qualities this award is named for: Humanitarian, Enterprising, Resilient, Bold, Inspirational and Ethical.

  • Recipients of the Individual HERBIE Award and the Organization HERBIE Award must demonstrate exemplary dedication to the community through significant public service.

    Nominees for the Individual HERBIE Award must live or work in the St. Paul/East Metro area.

    Nominees for Organization HERBIE Award must be a member in good standing (over one year) with the St. Paul Area Chamber.

    Through their service to the community, the individual or business must have made a significant contribution by fostering a climate of excellence that enhanced the St. Paul/East Metro area, creating a desirable place to live and work.
