Attention All Dog Owners
It's time to renew your dog tag(s) for 2025, or to register the new dogs in your household.
Dog Licensing provides resources for our Municipal By-Law staff to:
- Return lost dogs
- Feed and shelter stray dogs
- Rescue lost and stray dogs that are injured and require veterinary care
- Keep our communities safe for pets and people
For your convenience, you may renew or purchase your 2025 Dog Tag(s) securely online using this form. Individuals wishing to renew or purchase new Dog Tags in person may do so at the Township Administration Office, 148 Line 7 South (705-487-2171), or you may visit Heartland Kennel, 336 Line 5 N. (705-487-2660). Failure to license your dog every year may result in a $100 fine with the potential of a $5,000 maximum fine.
Canine Service Dogs, Livestock Guardian Dogs, Police Working Dogs and Dangerous Dogs shall only be licensed in person by appointment at the Township Administration Office.
Reminder: A maximum of 3 dogs are permitted for each residential dwelling unless special approval from Council has been applied for and granted.
