    2025 Oro-Medonte Dog Tag Registration

  • Attention All Dog Owners

    It's time to renew your dog tag(s) for 2025, or to register the new dogs in your household.

    Dog Licensing provides resources for our Municipal By-Law staff to:

    • Return lost dogs
    • Feed and shelter stray dogs
    • Rescue lost and stray dogs that are injured and require veterinary care
    • Keep our communities safe for pets and people

    For your convenience, you may renew or purchase your 2025 Dog Tag(s) securely online using this form.  Individuals wishing to renew or purchase new Dog Tags in person may do so at the Township Administration Office, 148 Line 7 South (705-487-2171), or you may visit Heartland Kennel, 336 Line 5 N. (705-487-2660).  Failure to license your dog every year may result in a $100 fine with the potential of a $5,000 maximum fine.

    Canine Service Dogs, Livestock Guardian Dogs, Police Working Dogs and Dangerous Dogs shall only be licensed in person by appointment at the Township Administration Office.

    Reminder:  A maximum of 3 dogs are permitted for each residential dwelling unless special approval from Council has been applied for and granted.

    Please note that new dog tags and renewals must be purchased by March 31, 2025 or a late fee of $15.00 per tag will be automatically applied. *

     * The Late Fee does not apply to new residents for the year in which they move into the Township, or for new dogs acquired after March 31st.

     License Fees for 2025:

    Not Spayed or Neutered $25.00
    Spayed or Neutered $20.00
    Spayed/Neutered and Microchip $15.00
    Replacement Tag $5.00
    Dangerous Dog $200.00
