  • Are you currently taking any medication or vitamins?:*

  • Although Kambo is completely safe when administered correctly, there are some situations where Kambo is contraindicated and cautioned against. These conditions are listed below

     

    * Serious heart problems or those who have had heart surgery. (This includes a Pacemaker but excludes Stents)

    * Stroke or a brain haemorrhage

    * Have an aneurism or blood clot

    *Are recovering from a major surgical procedure with internal stitches

    *Are on medication for low blood pressure

    *Lack the mental capacity to make the decision to take Kambo

    *Serious mental health problems, (excluding depression, PTSD and anxiety)

    *Are undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or have done so within the last 4 weeks

    *Are taking immune-suppressants after organ transplant

    *Addison’s Disease

    *Current and severe epilepsy

    *Recovering from a major surgical procedure

    *Under 18 years old

    *Certain types of Ehlers-Dalos Syndrome (EDS) 

    *Currently Pregnant or breast-feeding a child under 6 months old

    *Have consumed Bufo, Iboga 90 or Ibogaine in the last 6 weeks

    *Fasting, juice cleanses, steam room, sauna, hot yoga and hydrocolon therapy 3 days before or after your Kambo treatment

  • Do you have or have you ever had any severe heart problems?*
  • Do you take any medication for low blood pressure?*
  • Have you ever had a stroke?*
  • Have you ever had a brain haemorrhage?*
  • Have you ever had a blood aneurism or blood clot?*
  • Did you have or are you currently experiencing serious mental issues (excluding depression, eating disorders and anxiety)?*
  • Are you currently undergoing or have you undergone chemotherapy or radiotherapy in the last 4 weeks?*
  • Are you currently taking medication to surpress your immune system (ex after organ transplant)?*
  • Do you have Addisons disease?*
  • Do you have severe epilepsy that requires medication?*
  • Have you had an operation in the last 6 months?*
  • Are you pregnant or breastfeeding a child under 6 months? (Sidenote: there have been excellent results with Kambo and infertility)*
  • Have you had Iboga in the last 90 days or Bufo in the last 30 days?*
  • Fasting, hydrocolon therapy, sauna, or hot yoga is not allowed 3 days prior and 3 days after Kambo. Can you please confirm to abide by this? (Ramadaan fasting is ok, 24h or longer fasts are not)*
  • Have you had Kambo before?*
  • Are you prepared to fast for 8 hours before your treatment, drinking and eating nothing except water or herbal tea? (Fasting alone is a great practice, FYI)*
  • Will you confirm that you will notify me if you have the urge to go to the toilet so that I may guide you to the door?*
  • Are you prepared to have 3 points (or more, depending on dosage) gently burned onto your skin to create an avenue to your lymphatic system for the Kambo medicine to take hold?*
  • Are you prepared to experience discomfort, nausea and to vomit into a bucket (with other recipients in the room if you are doing a group session) as you detox your mind, body, heart and soul?*
