PAWS-OK Adoption Request Form
  • PAWS-OK Adoption Request Form

Pet Adoption & Welfare Services of OK, Inc (PAWS-OK)
  • It is our goal to find loving, safe, secure, responsible homes for all our rescued cats & kittens at Pet Adoption & Welfare Services of OK (PAWS-OK). To help ensure that we place our cats in proper homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from PAWS-OK that includes an application, veterinary & home ownership checks and a phone interview. PAWS-OK looks for adopters with a proven history of annual veterinary exams and annual vaccinations for current and past pets.

Animals are for life. When you adopt an animal, it is a commitment you make to the animal, for the lifetime of that animal. By adopting a cat or kitten from PAWS-OK, you’re making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years. Adopting a cat is a serious commitment, but one that is incredibly rewarding.

This application has four parts. In the first part you will be asked to provide information about you and your current household.  Part two is about your current pets - the dogs and cats this cat will be living with.  The third part asks about your previous cats (that are no longer with you) and experience.  The fourth part is about what you are looking for in the cat you are applying to adopt.  All the questions are important and must be answered.  The more detail you provide the better equipped we are to match you with the right cat.

We are a foster based organization who accepts cats and kittens from citizens who can no longer care for them.  We make committments to our volunteer fosters and to those citizens as to the placement of their cats and fosters.  For these reasons, PAWS-OK, Inc. reserves the right to re-direct potential adopters to other resources if we feel the desires or pet ownership history of a potential adopter does not meet our individual cat's needs.
