IMPORTANT

Roscommon SPCA relies on the dedication and generosity of volunteers who work from their own homes across County Roscommon.

We do not operate any office facilities, Kennels, or Cattery.

Our fundraising efforts are based on street collections and events that help us cover the costs of kennels and veterinary services for our animals in need.

Volunteers are essential for the functioning of Roscommon SPCA. We value any amount of time you can offer us, as it will make a difference for the animals we care for.

If you are under 18 and would like to volunteer some restrictions apply including Child Protection Policy and insurance, so please contact us for further information.

Roscommon SPCA does not collect any personal data about you on this website, apart from information which you volunteer (for example by filling out an online application form). Any information which you provide in this way is not made available to any third parties and is used by Roscommon SPCA only in line with the purpose for which you provided it. Roscommon SPCA keeps information in order to contact volunteers for fundraising activities where possible. After a period of 5 years without contact, Roscommon SPCA will automatically delete all of your personal information from its database.

Confidentiality

The work of the Roscommon SPCA is confidential and must not be shared with third parties. There is a very high level of confidentiality with the work we do and must be aware of this at all times, and must never be shared with or discussed with third parties.

Phones numbers must never be shared without written permission from both sides.
Posts shared on Facebook or the Website must have written permission to post.
Names & Addresses must never be shared without written permission.

We deal a lot with animal welfare issues and the issues surrounding those are confidential to Roscommon SPCA.
