Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Pal’s Place Rescue. Please read the following carefully before completing the adoption application. If you submit an application and are expecting a response from us, please be sure to check your spam/junk folder regulalry as our correspondence can sometimes end up in there. WE CANNOT PLACE HOLDS ON OUR DOGS. Please do not apply for a dog unless you are able to meet the dog and if all goes well, adopt the dog within 3 days of your application being approved(unless otherwise noted in the dog's profile or in our contact with you). We try to review every application we receive within 48 hours. Once we review it, we will contact you to schedule a meeting. We may have additional questions or require a home visit as well. Due to time constraints of our volunteers and foster homes, we cannot schedule second visits. Please be prepared to take your new family member home with you the day of the visit if everyone agrees it's a match. All dogs will have collars, but please bring your own leash (No flexi-leads, please!) All dogs are also sent home with their medical paperwork and a small bag of the food they have been eating. Please bring a photo ID and the adoption fee to complete our adoption contract. The adoption fee can be paid via cash, check, Zelle, or PayPal • All of our dogs are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only, once an approved application has been received. • In order to be seriously considered as an adopter you must: • Be 21 years of age or older. • Have all the adults in your household present at the greeting. • Have current identification showing your age • Be willing and able to provide loving attention, medical care and life-time stability for a dog. • Understand that Pal's Place Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption application. • Please answer all questions. Applications with blank questions will not be processed. • Please remember that we receive many applications every day, often for the same dog. Please be as specific as possible when answering these questions so that we can accurately understand what animal will be the best fit for your family. If multiple applications are received for one dog, we will review them in order to determine which home might be the best fit for that particular dog. • In the case of litters of puppies, multiple applicants will be meeting and selecting a puppy that will be a good match. If you will only consider one particular puppy in a litter, please note this on your application. We will make every effort to notify you if that puppy is adopted prior to your appointment. Often time with puppies, families will chose one other than the one originally applied for.
