We are now coasting into the second month of this new year, our 16th year as a global community of land surveyors, we have been busy cutting line and flagging trees.  We taking things down a new path.  In the past, we have tried everything to cut our own path, trying every possible way to keep this place that we share advertising free, available to every aspiring, motivated or otherwise frustrated surveyor living on planet earth to utilize and contribute to as they wish.  We've relied on donations from members.  The truth of the matter is there are a lot of courses, tools, resources in the process of being beta tested by those who subscribe. You may have noticed some construction happening over the past month.  We have been making the community getting slimmer, leaner, cleaner and faster. In this new year of 2023, we are transforming as a community. the first way we plan to make this community more sustainable is moving away from paying the ever increasingly expensive  Month-to Month subscriptions which have keep this community afloat for 16 yrs, March 7th.   From this point forward everyone will be paying our bills on an annual basis through membership subscriptions.   The entire community will save money this way, but we must begin the process of accepting member subscriptions. 

We simply cannot afford to pay our community bills monthly and we need to come together to fund our bills annually without your help and we need your involvement to make this work.

Land Surveyors United has been a totally free for all users since 2007 and it was the first ever (geo)social network for land surveyors. It was built with the notion that information should be free to those who want to learn.  Some of the new projects we hope to roll out over the next couple of months will come at a cost which we will collectively fund.  We believe a cost of approximately $50 per year per member is a fair amount for on demand access to this community, . That is approximately $0.13 per day and just a little over $4 per month.
