The occasion may arise where you will be transporting students. YFC maintains a high standard for driving kids on behalf of the ministry. YFC will be selective in determining who will transport kids, insisting on minimum standards for age, driving record and personal insurance levels.
Who can Transport kids?
-
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age
-
Valid driver's license must be submitted
-
Valid personal auto insurance must be submitted
-
Anyone who drives kids must have minium limits on their personal auto insurance policy of $100,000/$300,000
-
Completed the Motor Vechicle records check as part of your background screening process
Driving Rules
-
Follow all driving laws including speed limits
-
Require seats belts for all passengers
-
Do not load more passengers into a car than seat belts
-
Do not text or email while driving
-
We recommend having a third person present when transporting youth. When this is not possible, in circumstances where it is necessary to drive kids one on one, males drive males and females drive females.
-
We reccomment having parent approval and knowledge when driving a student for all YFC events or activities.
