The Trigonometry content standards reflect current research as well as essential concepts adapted from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics’ 2018 publication Catalyzing Change in High School Mathematics: Initiating Critical Conversations. The standards define knowledge, skills, and concepts students enrolled in Trigonometry must master to show proficiency and to ensure success in future mathematics courses.
