Description of Presentation
Write a brief (2-3 sentences) description of your sessions to include how your primary audience will benefit from attending. If your proposal is accepted, this description will be used in the conference app and program.

Sample Description: A positive school climate is a prerequisite for developmentally appropriate discipline strategies . Presenter will share how children are motivated to behave through healthy relationships . Learn how to teach children to be helpful, contributing members of a safe classroom .
Learning outcomes are the result of the objective(s) identified for your session. List and describe up to 3 learning outcomes for this presentation. Objectives should be measurable and achieveable in the timeframe of the session. Use action words when writing your objectives such as, but not limited to; identify, describe, demonstrate, analyze, construct and evaluate.
Opportunities for Application in the Early Childhood Field:
What message will attendees take home from your session? How will the presentation content help the attendees in their professional work and connection with others? How are DAP, DECE standards and ECE best practices implemented in the training?
What engagement approaches will be used to ensure the attendees actively participate in the training and reach the learning outcomes- e.g., interactive panel discussion, small group hand-on activities, breakout group conversations, kinesthesis movement opportunities, etc..
Recommended Features (1.5 hour sessions): effective active learning techniques, discussion and interaction for at least half of the session time, approaches that help participants turn ideas into action
Most sessions will be set-up theater style. We will also provide a limited number of rooms set with rounds with justification for the set-up.
ADECE will make every effort to accommodate presenters' room capacity and set-up preferences. However, we reserve the right to assign any room set-up and capacity based on availability.
Audio Visual Equipment:
ADECE will provide a standard audio visual set up which includes an LCD projector, screen, patch to sound, cart and wireless mics in rooms of 100 or more.
Session Recording and Materials:
Should ADECE decide to record sessions onsite at the conference, are you interested in having your session recorded? This would include any supporting materials such as handouts or PowerPoint slides.
Please Note, before ADECE records a session, presenters will be contacted and be expected to sign an agreement.
