Please note that what you get, what is expected, policies, and regulations may be changed or altered at any time during your membership.
Membership benefits
1. Discount on show entry fees for any show organised and run by the Club.
2. Priority access to any training events organised and run by the Club.
3. Discount on training event fees for any training events organised and run by the Club.
4. Club days, treks and other activities organised by the Club and/or its members.
5. Access to the club grounds at Cave.
6. Be able to nominate or second another member for a position on the managing committee.
7. Able to be nominated for a position on the managing committee.
8. A child member cannot vote.
9. Help on any club days or events.
10. Behave respectfully towards others, enjoy themselves, and continue to uphold the amazing working equitation culture.
11. If you choose to use the club rooms, please clean up after yourself, TURN OFF THE MAINS POWER and leave no rubbish or food behind.
CLUB COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA CODE OF CONDUCT.
Members are expected to communicate respectfully and constructively in all club- related discussions, including on social media.
EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrate commitment to the values of the SCWE club constitution.
Treat others with respect.
Criticise ideas, not individuals.
Avoid personal attacks, harassment, or inflammatory behaviour.
Use official club platforms for club business and community engagement.
SOCIAL MEDIA
personal disputes should not be conducted on club pages or groups .
Committee members posting officially should identify themselves where appropriate.
Moderators may close discussions or remove content.
CLUB OPERATIONS
Operational and governance matters should ,where practical, be handled through appropriate channels such as committee meetings, committee chat page, surveys, email voting and AGM processes.
COMMITMENT
All members share responsibility for maintaining a respectful, inclusive and welcoming club environment.
Failure to follow this code may result in moderation or other action considered appropriate by the committee.
