The Islamic Financial Planner (IFP®) is a professional qualification programme designed especially for professionals and executives serving the retail segment of the Islamic financial market. IFP® is pre-requisite for Capital Market Services Representative Licence (CMSRL) by Securities Commission (SC) and Financial Adviser Representative (FAR) by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) to carry out the regulated activity financial planning. This programme is a joint collaboration between IBFIM and Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM), and receives Full Accreditation from Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA).

Recognition of Prior Learning Fee
Candidates with lower qualification may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning Fee (RPL) to enrol in the programme via the alternative route. Advance Standing Status shall be granted to the candidates who are successful in their RPL application.

Note :
- The RPL application fee is payable upon submission of the application and is non-refundable regardless the outcome of the application.
- The RPL fee is payable for which advance standing is awarded and payment is to be made upon approval of the respective advance standing awarded.
Entry Requirements
- Certified Financial Planner; or
- Professional Certification e.g. CFA, CA, CIFP with 3 years of experience in Islamic Financial Services Industry; or
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 5 years of experiences in Islamic Financial Services industry.
