  • Logo Design Brief

    • Why the form?
    • I'd like to get to know your company better, and give you time to think about your answers. Your thorough responses will help me create a lasting mark that's true to you, and relatable for your target market.

I'll also be using your preferred contact method to continue the conversation.

    • What's the process?
    • I'll read your submitted brief and reach out to discuss questions and ideas.

I'll email or text an invoice to you, and start desiging with a 25% deposit.

I send you concept sketches or single-color digital options. With your feedback, I'll send more concepts, or further develop your preferred idea. It may take a few rounds of adjustments and final touches, but I'm set on working with you to develop a winning mark!

When you're happy with your main logo, I'll create a library of variations, which may include layouts for short/wide or tall/narrow areas, single-color, 2-color, and full-color... it all just depends on the logo.

Upon full payment, you'll receive your logo library and any individual files you need.

    • 1. Typographic Mark

      Wordmarks include the whole name.

      Lettermarks (monograms) focus on initials.

Best for succinct names, typographic marks tend to be very versatile.

Lettermark is only recommended if you wish to go by your initials, or if you're already well established.

      Estimated 4-8 hours of design.

    • 1. Icon / Pictorial

Icons are generally clean, memorable, recognizable symbols. They don't tell the whole story of a brand, but can become synonymous with a company over time.

Usually paired with a basic font, but can be displayed independently.

      Extremely versatile for marketing material.

      Estimated 5-10 hours of design.

    • 1. Abstract

Abstract logos can express tone, ideas, or action without use of literal objects.

They are unique to the brand, and can eventually become synonymous with it.

      Extremely versatile as branding elements.

      Estimated 5-10 hours of design.

    • 1. Combination

Combination logos feature a tight connection and interaction between text and imagery or linework. Included in this category are badges and emblems.

Logos with more details don't scale down to small areas well.

      Estimated 6-10 hours of design.

    • 1. Mascot

A mascot is a person, or a personified animal or object, that serves as the relatable face of your company.

Your mascot may even be modelled after you!

They can be independent of other logo elements. They can also be developed in different poses, and provide unique animation opportunities.

Mascots don't usually scale down to small areas well, due to many small details.

Note: We do not provide 3D rendering or complex animation at this time.

Estimated 8-12 hours of design, per pose.
