What previous riding experience do you have?
*If you have never been riding before it’s not a problem, our tours are specially designed to be exhilarating for all abilities. Telling us what level you are allows us to better tailor your trekking experience.
Height
Mongolian horses can be quite small. If you are quite tall you may want a taller one. We can ask ahead for you to get the best horse for you.
Weight *
Most companies have a 100kg weight limit for horse riding trips. We take a more flexible view on this. Mongolian horses are smaller than many European breeds but extremely strong and sturdy. If you are over 100kg we reserve the right to refuse service but please check with us. In many cases, we will speak to the nomads providing horses to see if they have larger stronger horses or if they can provide additional horses so we can swap horses out. Please don't be embarrassed to ask we often bring a few extra horses anyway for this exact kind of thing.

The final balance payment should be made no later than 8 weeks prior to the start date of the tour. If any balance remains unpaid we reserve the right to consider you booking cancelled and apply the stated cancellation conditions as detailed below.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ITINERARIES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT SHORT NOTICE DUE TO LOCAL CONDITIONS.

All cancellations must be made in writing by the person who made the booking or the person who is due to travel and are effective on the day we receive them. Cancellation charge, as a percentage of the total tour price, excluding pre-payments, depends on the number of days the cancellation notice is received.

In the case of cancellation by you more than 8 weeks before departure, we are entitled to retain your deposit. In case of cancellation between 3 and 8 weeks before departure, we are entitled to retain 50% of the price of the trip. In the case of cancellations less than 3 weeks before departure, we are entitled to retain the full price of the trip.
