  • College is expensive and Restaurant Technologies wants to invest in our next generation of leaders. The Restaurant Technologies Educational Foundation awards merit-based college scholarships with a historical maximum of $2,500 per year to children of Restaurant Technologies employees attending two or four year colleges and universities. Selection is based on academic promise, leadership, extra-curricular activities, and exemplary citizenship. Since the Foundation was established in 2013, we have raised over $424,000 and awarded 44 scholarships to children of Restaurant Technologies employees.

  • Application Checklist

    This application for scholarship becomes complete and valid only when it is returned with the student application, official transcript information, current complete transcript(s) of grades, and applicant appraisal.

  • ELIGIBILITY 

    Children of RT employees are eligible. Children include natural, adopted, and step children and legal wards who are 24 years of age or younger, of full-time RT employees (32 hours or more per week). The employee must have worked for RT on a full-time basis for 52 weeks leading up to the application deadline.

  • School Transcript Information

    1. Students currently enrolled in college or vocational/technical school must include with this application an official transcript of all college or vocational/technical school grades. Grade reports are not acceptable. Online transcripts must display student name, school name, grade and credit hours earned for each course, and term in which each course was taken.

    2. High school seniors and students who have completed less than one full term of postsecondary education must include a high school transcript of grades and have the online form completed by the appropriate school official.

  • Applicant Appraisal

    To be completed by a high school or college counselor or adviser, an instructor, or a supervisor who knows the applicant well. A minimum of one appraisal is required.

  • SELECTION OF RECIPIENTS

    RT Educational Foundation Board has the sole responsibility for selecting recipients, basing the decision on academic promise, qualities of leadership and general promise, and good citizenship.

    In submitting this application, I certify that the information provided is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge.  If requested, I agree to provide proof of information I have given on this form.  Falsification of information may result in termination of any scholarship granted.  This application becomes the property of RT Educational Foundation.  It is recommended you keep a copy for your files.
