Community Calendar Submissions

As a nonprofit media organization, KGNU is dedicated to amplifying the good work of nonprofit organizations across the Front Range.

To that end, KGNU produces a weekly Community Calendar highlighting community events happening that week and that day across the Front Range. The Community Calendar is aired twice a day during morning and afternoon news programming, Monday through Friday on 88.5 FM and 1390 AM, and online at KGNU.org.

Examples of Community Calendar events include community events, meetings, festivals, lectures, fundraisers, and more.

Community Calendar partnerships are considered a promotional trade relationship, where KGNU provides on-air announcements in exchange for promotional benefits, i.e. tabling opportunities at your event, logo exposure, etc.

You can submit your request to create a partnership for the Community Calendar by filling out the information below. We request that the form is filled out a minimum of two months in advance of your event (60 days). Submission of your event does not guarantee placement on the calendar.

Your sponsorship message will be something like this:

"This week's community calendar is sponsored by 8th Annual Boulder Arts Week happening March 26 through April 3, with digital and in-person arts and culture offerings including workshops, public art, dance, music, and more at venues throughout the city. More information at Boulder Arts Week dot org."
