Applicants for the 2020 Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Scholarship Program must have been a 2019 and/or 2020 member of the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Program. The applicant also must be a senior in high school for the 2019-2020 school year.
Applicants must have completed (or plan to complete) high school prior to September 1st, 2020 and must be planning to enroll as a full time student. A full time student is defined as one who is taking 12 or more hours in a course of study leading to a traditional associate (2 year) or baccalaureate (4 year) degree at an accredited college or university located within the United States or considered a full-time student by his/her respective institution.
The Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Committee will review class ranking, grade point average (GPA) and either ACT or SAT test scores, along with the student’s extracurricular activities. The student should be enrolled in a college-bound curriculum. Distinguished honors should be noted.
The applicant’s cumulative grade point average (GPA) MUST BE at least 3.0 on a 4.0 graduating scale or the student WILL NOT be considered eligible for the scholarship program.
