Coronavirus policies:
Below is important information about camp and how we plan to keep camp participants, our volunteers, and our staff safe and happy.
-
Camp enrollment will be held to 9 campers with one instructor.
-
Mask wearing by participants during inside time is required.
-
Each child will have a personal tool kit with necessary items for the week to reduce the need for sharing.
-
Camp will alternate between inside activities and outside activities.
-
While we plan to do activities related to the camp theme, we will also focus on general merriment--games, walks to observe nature and buildings, and play time.
-
The classroom will be cleaned on a regular basis with CDC and EPA approved cleaning agents while the camp is held outside.
-
One bathroom will be designated for camp use only.
-
Hand washing will be done on a regular basis throughout the day.
-
Hand sanitizer and tissues will be provided.
-
Please keep your child at home if any of your family feels ill or has a fever.
-
Please keep your child at home if they have been in contact with anyone who has recently tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
-
If a MESS Hall staff member feels ill or has known contact with an infected person, the classroom will be cleaned thoroughly. A new staff person will substitute for the remainder of the week.
If a participant routinely violates health protocols, we will speak to their caregiver. If the behavior continues, the camper will be dismissed without refund.
