2020 Miss Piston Powered Cleveland Auto-Rama 1920s-1960's Classic Pin-Up Contestant Entry Form

Here is some info on the contest along with a few simple rules we have. Please let us know if you have any questions.

 

The 2020 Miss Piston Powered Cleveland Auto-Rama Classic Pin-up contest will take place on Saturday, March 14th, 2020!! The hours are listed as: Arrive at 4pm and check in with Pearl Caprice (Hot Rod Girl Pearl). You will have free time before everyone meets back up at a designated location near the stage at 5:30pm. The contest will begin at 6pm. Plan to be there until 9pm but usually we are done with promotional photos within 30-45 after the show ends.) ***Hours may change closer to the event!!***

 

-All approved contestants & sponsors will receive (1) parking pass & (1) participant pass for yourself (a $85.00 value)!! How many other shows give you a pass and FREE parking to a world-class indoor event like this??!!!

**FYI: We do not do audience applause as a way to judge. We do have judges for our show and I am not one of them! **

***We are also working on gift bags for all contestants as always!  We feel that all contestants are winners regardless of how they place!  It takes a lot for a gal to get all dolled up and stroll the stage!  We think of all of our contestants as winners and that even though we have titles for the top 5, most importantly this is supposed to be a fun event, not a stressful one! ***

-Contestants & sponsors are permitted to do photoshoots with anyone whom they choose to during any portion of the show. The only thing that the contest requires is that any contestant or winner is to pose for promotional photos with sponsors of the show after the contest ends. Also, please inquire to us directly if anyone approaches you saying that they are a sponsor of the show and they are NOT listed on our official Facebook page. This is for the protection of all contestants and friends/family of contestants.

-All wardrobe must fit into 1920s- early 1960s style only...! When in doubt, please ask. Clothing does not need to be vintage but it is best to have a retro feel to your wardrobe. If you need assistance, please let us know!! We will be publishing a list of retro/vintage style clothing retailers to purchase or rent from if you are selected for the show!!

-Any contestant who placed in the TOP 5 in the previous years WILL NOT BE permitted to enter the show again. This is a NEW rule for this year!  

- Under no circumstances is a contest to speak about any current events, politics, local news, etc on the stage (if selected to be in the contest) This is not a talk show, debate, or a news venue. This is a fun place for everyone! Please respect the show and everyone involved by keeping it classy.

-Absolutely NO bullying, name-calling, bashing, etc. This is a fun event. Let's keep it that way! I go through a lot to try and make this a unique event and venue. I created this event as a fun outing for all and to introduce many women to the art of pin-up. There is absolutely no room for name-calling or bashing/bullying, etc. All women of all sizes, colors, backgrounds, religions, locations, etc are welcome to enter and are encouraged to join us! If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask!

-You may be approached by car owners, sponsors, or general public looking for photos of pinups with a car, motorcycle, etc.  Please be classy.  Try to refrain from posing for lewd photos while attending the event.  Save that for your off-site photoshoot sessions!  

-Under no circumstances are you to use profanity, or act rude, etc.

- There are to be absolutely NO negative attitudes toward any contestants or anyone involved in the show, NO harassment or name-calling of any kind, etc. permitted at any time during any of the show hours, during the contest, or anywhere online. If a contestant is seen participating in this behavior, they will be promptly disqualified from the contest. NO EXCUSES! We work hard to support every person who is associated with our show! Don’t be a Negative Nancy or it's Bye Bye Felicia! ha ha ha  (If your name is Nancy or Felicia, we don't mean you.  This is a figure of speech we used.)

-No nudity, bikinis, burlesque costumes, Halloween costumes, inappropriate clothing, overly sexy clothing revealing cleavage, buttocks, crotch area, or lewd/obscene language is permitted during the contest. This is a family-friendly venue! A contestant will be disqualified immediately in the event of this occurring. You are welcome to email Pearl any questions you have or the page here or email a photo of the outfit that you are looking to wear for the show. Please dress appropriately and act appropriately. You are representing not only yourself, the contest, but the show as well! No inappropriate behavior including any comments, gestures, etc during the show will be permitted. You will be promptly disqualified if you do not follow directions.

 

 

All entries will be contacted no earlier than January 28th, 2020 (if applied prior to that date.) of their entry status.  An entry does not guarantee a contestant spot in the event. Our event has grown in the past 7+ years and we receive 50+ entries to the show. We accept between 25-30 contestants into the event.  We do have a top 5 at our event unlike many other shows out there. No experience in pin-up, modeling, or contests is required.   No information given on this application will be given out to the public other than a stage name used at the event and prior to the event.  All information on this entry will remain private for the safety of all potential contestants.  Photos submitted may be used for advertising purposes, so please keep it classy and professional.  Again, no photos in swimwear, lingerie, overly sexy, etc.  When in doubt, please ask.  Photos do not need to be professional in nature but we do need to see the applicant clearly in them. If you have trouble submitting your photos, please send your photos directly to Pearl at pearlcaprice@rocketmail.com and put your stage name and 2020 Miss Piston in the title.
