The Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District Project announces $2,000 in matching grant funds for 2020 marketing of artists, businesses and events in the Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District. $200- $500 is available in 50/50 matching funds for each application and the grant will fund between 4 and 10
One only application per organization. For example, an application for $500 would be matched by $500 from the applicant for a total marketing budget of $1,000.
The business or event must be within the Crisfield Arts & Entertainment (A & E) District and the marketing must mention the Crisfield A & E District and include the A & E logo if it is a visual ad (digital or print). All marketing must be planned at least three months before events and include a detailed marketing timeline. The Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District Project Board will review the applications and determine grant approvals by April 1.
Businesses, artists or organizations with items for sale or that are holding events within the Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District may apply anytime before March 1 at 4 pm.
A final report consisting of a brief summary of the marketing and results, and the invoice(s) to show that the matching funds were spent, will be required at the conclusion of the marketing.
