Awarded to the Singaporean company which has demonstrated a significant commitment to Australian trade and investment and developed a strong business alliance with Australia. Consideration includes:
- Significance of the company’s business within its industry, the Australia-Singapore business environment and in the region
- Company’s market share over the past 3 years
- Level of investment in Australia over the past 3 years
- Significance of the company’s investment in a strategic sector(s)
- Degree to which the investment has benefitted both the company and the business environment in Australia
- Achievement of employment or profitability growth
- Long term investment plan into Australia
Business Excellence Award
Awarded to the organisation which has demonstrated the most outstanding performance in its field. Considerations include:
- Significance of the company’s business within its industry, the Australia-Singapore business environment and in the region
- Degree to which the business has forged stronger business ties between Singapore & Australia or significantly improved the image of Australia and its people
- Business Growth & Sustainability. Demonstrates the resiliency of the company, the scalability of the business, and how the company exploits opportunities for continued growth:
o positioning of the company in the industry
o company’s market share over the past 3 years
o strategies for increasing the company’s local and/or international market share
o how does the company ensure business sustainability in the long term
o what are the Company’s plans for expansion locally and internationally

The business is a champion of sustainable business practices, showing innovation and a commitment to sustainable business practices. Consideration includes:
- Innovative business solution that contribute to a more sustainable future
- Alignment with relevant global external initiatives, such as the 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or industry specific targets
- Specific initiatives the company has initiated to drive environmental progress and impact global sustainability in areas such as:
o Energy consumption and sources;
o Use of renewables;
o Significant reductions in the carbon footprint in specific projects;
