    Ambassador Program

    1. What unique viewpoints and abilities can you bring to the table for the Chambers Ambassador Program?
    2. What do you wish every prospective Chambers College student knew and why?
    3. If you could go back in time and meet yourself as a senior in high school, what would you tell yourself about your time at WVU so far?
    4. In your opinion, what are the top benefits of being a student at the John Chambers College of Business and Economics at WVU?

    Peer Mentorship

    1. If you could go back to the very start of your college career, what would you do differently and why?
    2. In your opinion, what are the three most important things new Chambers freshmen should know?
    3. What skills or traits do you possess that make you well equipped to help first semester freshmen adjust to life at WVU?
    4. If you would have had the opportunity to have a Peer Mentor in your freshman seminar course, what impact might that have had on your success as a student?
  • Personal Statement

    Please attach to this application using a separate sheet of paper. This may be presented in any manner you deem most appropriate. Include why you think you would make a good Student Ambassador or Peer Mentor for the Chambers College and why you are interested in participating in the program. Maximum length: 1 page

    Ambassadors:

    I understand I will be given advance notice of upcoming activities and opportunities to help. I understand that serving as a Chambers College Student Ambassador is a 15 hour/semester volunteer time commitment where I represent the College and University, and I will be an active participant in order to fulfill those hours and represent my school to the best of my ability. I understand that failure to adequately participate in the program may result in my dismissal from the program.

    Peer Mentors:

    I understand that the Chambers Peer Mentorship program is associated with a credit bearing class (1 credit) for which I will receive a grade.

    Selected applicants will be contacted via their MIX email address to schedule a face-to-face interview by early March.
