FAMILY CONTRACT TERMS
ATTENDANCE: Playing for the Bluebirds is a serious time commitment. We expect all players to attend all practices and games when available. We understand schedules are hectic but the only way for your child to improve and for the team to compete is for players to practice together and for the full team to attend games. If you do have conflicts in your schedule that would prevent your child from attending any sessions you must notify through our Team Snap application ahead of time so the coaches can be adequately prepared. If attendance or lateness becomes a serious issue during the season without clearance it will result in your child losing playing time or not being asked to return.
ON-TIME: We expect all players to arrive to team events on time. Players should arrive to games one hour before start time. We expect Bluebirds players to be in full uniform for each game made up of jersey, pants, hat, belt and socks.
BEHAVIOR: We expect all Bluebirds players to be good teammates and respectful of their fellow players and their coaches. We expect Bluebirds players to show respect for the game and their opponents at all times. We expect Bluebirds players to hustle in practice and games and always give maximum effort. We expect Bluebirds players to not question their coaches decisions. We expect Bluebirds players to be in good standing in their schools. Violations of any of these rules could lead to a reduction in playing time or removal from their team.
SCHEDULING: We expect all parents to be responsible for knowing practice and game schedules and getting the players to team functions on time. We expect that parents put the team first when making plans on the weekends and to ensure their child meets the required attendance.
COMMUNICATION: Feel free to email NYBluebirdsBaseball@Gmail.com with questions during the season or call at 917-415-9644. The TEAM SNAP App will be the main form of communication and you will receive an email invitation to join the team after registering.
BEHAVIOR: Although this is rarely if ever a problem in our organization it must be said. We expect all parents to behave in a mature manner during Bluebirds events. We expect parents to be respectful of other players and families and to assist coaches when needed and asked. As a rule only one parent will be allowed in the dugout to assist if asked by a coach. We expect families to be respectful of the umpires and the players and families of our opponents and let the coaches handle any disputes. We expect Bluebirds families to use appropriate language at all times.
LEAVING THE TEAM: Please note if a player leaves the team during the season for any reason including but not limited to: injury, lack of playing time, coach disagreement, scheduling conflicts there will be no refunds given. All fees owed on this contract will still be due if the season has already started.
Player Registration fee must be paid with this application. This fee is refundable until February 28, 2020 for the Spring season. After that date our rosters will be locked and the fee is non-refundable.
Flexible payment plans are available as are additional installment options or a later final balance date if arranged with me. We are happy to work with you to make the payment process easier and want to make sure all players can participate but you must communicate this with me. Please know we cannot operate the organization if families are delinquent with payments as we will not be able to pay for coaches, gym permits, uniform or league fees on time.
Please note a uniform order sheet will be sent to all families to order your players team uniform.Bluebirds gear for the season or if your child has outgrown any. This will consist of a T-Shirt jersey, hat, belt and socks.
We have a group of tremendous families and tremendous players. We look forward to a successful, fun, and rewarding season. Thank you for being a part of the Bluebirds Family.
