Payment: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Paypal, Venmo or bank transfer. Checks should be made out to Tanessa Cole. We do not accept post-dated checks. There is a $35 fee for all returned checks.
Lock out policy: Please be sure we can enter your home, either by providing us with a key, a code or leaving a door unlocked. If we arrive for a scheduled service and are unable to access your home, or if we are turned away for any reason after arriving, the full service charge will be due before the next scheduled cleaning, otherwise service will be terminated.
Rate Changes: Maid Clean reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the amount of time it takes to perform our services to meet the client's standards. We monitor the actual cleaning time for the initial 2-3 months of service and occasionally thereafter. Maid Clean will contact the client to discuss possible price or service revisions.
Cancellations & Skipped Cleanings: Please give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason. Any cancellations made in less than 48 hours will be subject to a $50 fee, this fee must be paid before your next scheduled cleaning. As a general cleaning client part of what you are paying for is a consistent spot on our schedule, at a discounted rate. For any missed cleanings an additional 20% of the cleaning fee will be added. (For biweekly cleans this is the fee assessed for a monthly clean.)
Supplies: Maid Clean will provide all equipment and supplies except for trash liners and paper towels. Exceptions are if the client has any specialty cleaners or equipment they would prefer we use. Maid Clean is not responsible for any damage of equipment or surfaces when our supplies and equipment are not used. If you would like us to use your vacuum cleaner, please be sure to maintain the unit and leave extra bags if needed.
Effectiveness: Please be prepared for us before we arrive, we can do a more thorough job if the house is prepared before we get there. Have personal items cleared away and secure all valuables (cash, jewelry, non-replaceable items of high value). Have pets secured in an area that will not be cleaned. It is preferred that the home is unoccupied during your cleaning for efficiency and safety of service providers. If you work from home, please schedule conference calls or other important phone calls for a time we won't be there.
Cleaning Procedures: All of our services will be performed following our checklists. Any tasks which stray from our lists are considered add ons and are subject to additional charges. Please note- we will do our best to clean behind and underneath furniture but we do not move any heavy furniture nor will we move it upon request.
Thermostat settings: Please set your thermostat to 70 degrees or less for the comfort of your service professional. If the home temperature is above 75 degrees at the time of cleaning we reserve the right to cancel the service until the home is at a comfortable working temperature and you will be subject to the full cleaning fee.
Bodily fluids: We do not clean animal cages, litter boxes, animal droppings, human or pet feces, urine, vomit, soiled clothing, blood or similar biohazards. We will clean around litter boxes, etc.
Sick Policy: If anyone in the home is sick with a contagious illness (flu, cold, pneumonia, chicken pox, lice, etc.) please reschedule your cleaning. We want to limit the possibility of transferring illnesses from one home to another. To be fair to all the customers and staff, please wait until you are well again. We will also not send a sick employee to your home for the same reasons.
Weather: Maid Clean will be closed for business when extremely severe weather causes dangerous driving conditions or the Sheriff’s office warns against driving. We will do our best to reschedule if at all possible otherwise you will need to wait until next scheduled cleaning.
Holidays: Maid Clean will be closed on the following national holidays: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If your cleaning falls on either of these days and you would like to reschedule around them, please note the earlier you contact us the better as we fill up around holidays very quickly.
24 Hour satisfaction guarantee: The client's satisfaction is our primary objective. If we should ever miss an area, just contact us within 24 hours of the provided service and we will return to re-clean the area you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you. NO REFUNDS for services provided!
Termination of Services: Services may be terminated by either party for any reason. Please give 48 hours notice if you decide to terminate services for any reason.
A non-refundable deposit of half estimated service charge is required on all move out or one time cleans. This is due 7 days before the scheduled cleaning day.
Cleaning is done assuming all surfaces are sealed, i.e. countertops, floors, etc. If you are aware of any surface that is not sealed, please notify us so that we may take appropriate actions.
