Residents, fellows, and medical students are strongly encouraged to present posters at the meeting. Barring unusual circumstances, all posters submitted will be accepted for presentation since the Society’s aim is to encourage students and residents to present posters.
There will be two categories that will be judged separately: Case Reports and Original Research. Case Reports can be an easy way for students and residents to take their first steps towards presenting posters at a meeting. For the category of Original Research, the presenter must have had a substantial role in conducting the research or analyzing the data for presentation. Prizes along with certificates will be awarded separately in each of the two categories. Names and photographs of the winners will also be published in transactions, the newsletter of the Philadelphia Psychiatric Society. All poster presenters will receive a certificate of participation and are encouraged to note their participation on the CVs.
