The goal is to contact 100 people within 5 weeks. And then again next month and the month thereafter. You are spreading awareness of something vital. So be happy doing that regardless of outcome.... even with a 99% failure rate, you are still adding 1 new person to your team every 5 weeks!
I recommend inviting 5 people per day Monday-Friday. It only takes 1 minute to invite someone to a presentation. On Saturday, do your follow-ups. The reason you devote a whole day to follow-ups is because the number of people to follow-up with will increase over time.
But the real key is to realize the following:
- Most people quit before reaching out to 100 people
- Very few make it to reaching out to 300 people.
- Few people last 1 year in their business: this is a marathon not a sprint. make sure that you are enjoying the ride - the products, the vision and the sharing of something tremendous!
- Know the law of sowing and reaping. Listen closely to "The Law of Sowing and Reaping" by Jim Rohn. This prepares you for "disappointment" when every person does not join your business. The only thing you are doing is sharing something good long enough for it to fall on the right ears/eyes.
