Our high school STEM internships invite high-achieving Year 11 and 12 students to apply for the opportunity to expand their skill sets beyond the classroom and explore future career ambitions with like-minded peers - all before university.

The rigorous program develops students' technical, leadership and critical thinking skills through a suite of on-campus practical learning, professional development and external assessment.

If I am selected for the QUT High School STEM Internship program, I agree to comply with the safety regulations and instructions of the QUT High School Internships programs management and staff during my participation in the event. In particular, I agree to comply with the rules: no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs, and appropriate mobile phone use. I understand that if I fail to keep to these rules, I may be removed from the program, with any costs incurred being payable by my parent/guardian. *

This online form is an application to be a participant in the QUT High School STEM Internships program. All applicants must be able to attend all dates in the program. Should you have any issues completing the online application, please email stem.schools@qut.edu.au or phone (07) 3138 5348.

Applications close at 11:59PM, Thursday 13 February.

Incomplete applications and applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

QUT reserves the right to select the most suitable candidates for the program. Acceptances will be based on responses to the above questions, academic transcripts and teacher recommendations.
