  • The minimum age for a training candidate is 8 years old

    There will be Safety cover on the water and instruction to support each group.

    We will limit numbers in order to comply with RYA ratios, so will fill each group accordingly.

    We will confirm names in advance.

    Please ensure that your dinghy is sailable and sea worthy has harbour dues paid and the Plaque displayed and has third Party Insurance of a minimum of £2m.

  • We strongly encourage juniors to use their own dinghies wherever possible, as this will improve their skills in their own boats. If your child(ren) can use their own dinghy, please can you provide details (Note: all dinghies must be seaworthy, with Third Party Insurance of a minimum of £2m, and have paid harbour conservancy dues and be displaying the Plaque).

    NOTE: Club boats NOT available during 2020

  • There is a charge of £20 per day for the use of a club boat.
    The club boats are limited in number and will be allocated appropriately.

  • PLEASE NOTE : A Parent or Guardian must be present at the Club to at all times during these 2 days.

  • Do you suffer from any of the following illnesses or disabilities which may require medical treatment?

  • What you will need to bring:

    • Suitable clothing for sailing.
    • Buoyancy aid.
    • Sun cream.

    • Warm clothes.
    • Spray top.
    • Warm hat .

    Parents, you are required to be on site at the club for the full duration of this training session to help rig boats, get children on and off the water.
