Task Force Descriptions
Regional Service Project Task Force: Have a passion for service? This year, we're having our regional service project focus on emergency preparedness, which tackles the bigger issue of natural disaster relief affecting our region. This task force will assist Noheli, the AD-NRHH, in assembling a regional service project "guide" which would help outline the two components of the service project and would be shared with the whole region! This task force will also serve as the marketing/promotional team for getting institutions to participate and will be serving the region up until the end of April, after the conclusion and evaluation of the service project. If you have any questions, please reach out to Noheli at pa_adnrhh@nacurh.org!
Legislative Task Force: The legislative task force will take a deeper look into the policies of PACURH and NACURH and consider how our policies align with our goals. The intention is to have the taskforce somewhat discussion-based, as we talk about the changes we need to make, what legislative resources we offer, and more. Ideally, there would also be a work-based component to this task force as we take what was discussed and write to put it into policy!
Spirit Task Force: NACURH 2020 is right around the corner! Are you pumped? Do you have ideas on how this region can excel at showing our Froggie Pride? The Spirit Task Force is an avenue for the region to get involved with the creation and implementation of PACURH spirit! This involves tasks such as generating new cheers and brainstorming swag ideas. All ideas are welcome!
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force: PACURH as a region has claimed in the past to be the most diverse and inclusive region in NACURH. While that may be true in some, it is important for us to continually work towards that goal and practice what we preach. This task force will be dedicated to brainstorming and implementing ideas that will make our region more inclusive, equitable, and culturally competent.
