Christie Renee (“Model”) will provide modeling services for you (“Client) in accordance with these terms and conditions, unless such be varied in writing by agreement between the parties. 

How to book Christie Renee

Client must discuss and submit their concepts and requested services to Model before making a non-refundable $50 booking deposit. Upon agreement of services, Client must submit their signed Client agreement and non-refundable deposit at least ten (10) days prior to requested booking day. Bookings will be considered incomplete and will not be honored if Client does not submit their write up of concept/desired service (including date and time), deposit AND signed client agreement. If Client discusses concept/desired service and submits deposit before specifying booking date and time, or submitting a signed client agreement, Client will not receive a refund of deposit. However, they the deposit will be honored if Client specifies a booking date and time and submits a signed client agreement within 30 days of receipt of deposit. After 30 days, the Client must restart the booking process, which includes making a non-refundable $50 deposit.

Rates for photography and videography modeling services by Christie Renee

Model and Client agree to keep all financial arrangements and agreements strictly confidential and include Model on all discussions regarding rates and services.

A non-refundable $50 booking deposit is required to secure, book and confirm service from Model. Final payment is required immediately at the end of rendered service. These rates are per photographer, per session. 

• Option 1: $135/hour (1-hour minimum, rates starting upon arrival). Christie Renee will come to the set hair and makeup ready only. Client will describe desired look below. If concept items will need to be bought by Model, the Client will reimburse Model for the item.
• Option 2: $90/hour (2-hour minimum, rates starting upon arrival). Client will provide hair and makeup services during and as part of the booked time. Client will specify requests for preparation of Model prior to arrival below. If concept items will need to be bought by Model, the Client will reimburse Model for the item.
• Option 3: Other Client and Model has reached the agreement as stated below. 

Payment 

A non-refundable $50 booking deposit is required to secure, book and confirm service. Final payment is required immediately at the end of rendered service. Payments can be made via:

Concepts

Concepts must be discussed and agreed upon with Christie Renee at least ten (10) days prior to desired booking date. Christie Renee reserves the right to decline service due to concept, concept set/location, photographer discrepancies and failure to submit the write up of concept/desired service (including date and time), deposit AND signed client agreement. 

Locations

Set locations outside of a 10-mile radius from Washington, DC 20002 but within 30 miles of Washington, DC 20002 will incur a $45 fee. 

For set locations outside of a 30-mile radius from Washington, DC 20002, Client will cover travel (including luggage) and lodging expenses. Travel and lodging arrangements must be discussed with Model prior to booking. If a set location is “weather permitting”, this must be made clear at the time of booking and must have a contingency plan. Weather-related cancellations will follow cancellation processes mentioned below.

Travel and lodging arrangements must be booked, confirmed and sent to Model via email (christierholland@gmail.com) within forty-eight (48) hours after booking Model.

The Client is responsible for providing a meal accommodations for model on all bookings over 4 hours. 

 

Additional Fees

Cancellation fees: Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be submitted to Model in writing at least seven (7) working days prior to the booking date and start time to avoid rescheduling fees. Client will not receive a booking deposit refund, as the booking deposit is non-refundable. However, if Client will receive a full refund of prepaid services minus the booking deposit. If Client cancels a booking  within three (3) working days of the starting time, client will be charged a $50 non-refundable fee to reschedule. Model is not responsible for any costs incurred or losses endured as a result of cancellations or alterations relating to the booking. Client will also cover all costs related to the booking incurred by Model (such as garment reimbursement) up to the cancellation date unless otherwise arranged and agreed to in writing. 

Additional Use: Additional fees are payable for the right to use the photographs (or reproductions, or adaptations of, or drawings there from, either complete or in part, alone or in conjunction with any wording or drawings including electronic imaging) for all known or anticipated purposes other than the initial permitted use (e.g. for packs, record covers, show-cards, posters etc.) unless otherwise agreed in writing, the ‘permitted use’ cover editorial, experimental or press advertising. 

Exclusion fees: A special fee will be negotiated when the work is in conjunction with a product which preludes work for competing products. It is Client’s responsibility to check whether conflicting work has been done. If Christie Renee advertises a product, she can work for any competitor unless an exclusion fee is negotiated. Christie Renee is not required to promote Client’s work or products but is welcomed to. 

Test photography: The Client and the photographer is not entitled to use test/experimental photographs for commercial purposes unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the Model prior to the photographic session.

Customer Service 

Dissatisfaction Procedure

In the event that Client is not satisfied with Model, Client must specify and discuss dissatisfaction with Model while on set, before the end of the session. Client is not entitled to a refund. However, Client and Model can negotiate a refund of up to 50% or redo of services for up to 1 hour. Any cause for complaint should be reported to Model when it arises. Complaints cannot be considered in retrospect. 

Liability

The Client is solely responsible for ensuring Model is treated with respect and professionalism, and that all necessary steps are taken to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of Model is protected, at all times by the Client and/or any third parties engaged by and with the Client in relation to the delivery of services, including ensuring safe working environments, allowing Model regular rest periods, providing Model with safe and appropriate changing and dressing areas, and ensuring no one imposes upon Model any action that is dangerous, degrading, unprofessional and inappropriate to Model. Model shall not be liable for any loss suffered by Client. No party excludes or limits its liability under these terms and conditions for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited. 

Mixed bookings 

In the event that a model(s) from other agencies or representation are working on the same assignment providing the same service as Model Christie Renee, Christie Renee reserves the right to charge at the same rate as the other model(s). 

Insurance 

Should Model need to cancel a booking for any reason, Model will reschedule with Client free of charge if Client still desires services from Model. While a reschedule or dropping of costs may be offered, the Client is advised to insure against any loss which may result if the Model needs to cancels a booking.  

Law

These terms and conditions and the contract between Model and Client governed by these terms and conditions shall be governed by State of the District of Columbia and state of Client's business/locaation and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District of Columbia Courts and courts of Client's business/location. 

Images and Model Release

The Client holds the rights to images if Client booked Model via Options 1 or 2. It is preferred that Client shares images with Model, however. Clients booking via Option 3 must reach an agreement concerning images with Model at the time of booking. All usage must be stated prior to the assignment and fees must be negotiated with Model for further usage. 

Model grants Client and their legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs and videos of Model, or in which Model may be included, for editorial, trade, and advertising purposes only and in any manner and medium discussed; and to alter and composite the same without restriction and without Model’s inspection or approval. Model releases Client and their legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs and video. The use of Model’s images must not be directly or indirectly scandalous, pornographic, derogatory, or a cause of ridicule or embarrassment to Model. The behind-the-scenes filming is permitted on the condition that Model is hair-and-makeup ready.
