As part of the UCL Datathon week, the Academic Careers Office is offering a special edition of the Clinician Coders workshop. A total of 15 places are on offer to health care professionals who would you like to do hands-on computer programming and get to learn about EPIC and other data systems used at UCLH. No previous experience with computer programming is required!
All 15 places are supported by a NIHR UCLH BRC bursary and applicants will be selected based on their fit for the programme and how they would benefit from attending. Consideration will be given to a fair distribution amongst different categories of healthcare professional.

Coding language: The course uses the open-source statistical computing language R, and a freely available application for working with R called R Studio.
Content: The course will consist of eight sessions for absolute beginners with experienced R savvy facilitators.
