Data Science Day 2020: Poster & Demo Application

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, February 28 (11:59PM EST).
Thank you for your interest in applying to present a research poster or demo at Columbia University's Data Science Day, hosted each year by the Data Science Institute. We welcome your abstracts and look forward to reviewing your work.

Data Science Day will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 (9:00AM - 5:00PM) at Columbia's Alfred Lerner Hall (2920 Broadway, New York, NY 10027). Details on timing for poster and demo sessions will be sent to accepted applicants following the application deadline. If accepted, you and your team will receive free admission to the event.

Part 1: Style of Submission
What style of submission should I select for consideration?

Poster: You will receive 1 easel and 1 white foam-board mount to attach your poster. On the application, please specify which size foam-board mount you will require. Posters will be shown side by side with standing room for your team. Your poster should be printed on paper in advance and brought with you at setup.

Demo: You will receive 1 table and 2 chairs. Please select "demo" if you plan to showcase interactive technologies using a monitor, screen, or computer system. It is OK if you would also like to show a poster in addition to your digital demonstration. Please bring everything you need to run your demo on the day of the event.
