  • Important Information Terms and Conditions

    1. FOOD VENDORS: You must provide detail of the product or service that you will be selling. If you are selling food products, please fill out the accompanying form and return it with this application. Due to MLHU rules, vendors are not permitted to sell food at Baconfest unless the following form has been filled out at least 14 days prior to the event.
    2. All Hazardous Food Vendors must provide proof of $2 million in liability insurance, with the Hogtown Cycles & Township of Lucan Biddulph named as an ‘Additional Insured’.
    3. ALL FOOD VENDORS MUST PROVIDE A BACON DISH.
    4. Products that promote or glorify hatred, violence, racial, criminal activities, sexual or religious intolerance or promote organizations with such views may not sold or displayed at the event. Failure to comply with this policy will result in termination from the event.
    5. TRADEMARKS: The Baconfest logo is not to be used without the express permission of the Township of Lucan Biddulph. Please indicate on the line above if you wish to use the name or logo, how it will be used, and how many items are being created. You will be contacted if the logo use is approved.
    6. PARKING: Parking for all vendors is free of charge; however you will be asked to park off-site. Please be prepared to unload your vehicle and move it off site.
    7. CAMPING: Included with paid vendor space: You receive camping for one trailer and up to 4 people for Thursday July 9th, Friday July 10th and Saturday, July 11th. 2020.
    8. *This does not include entry to any paid portion of Entertainment at Main Stage after 6pm - Camping Only.
    9. Camping Check in: Thurs. July 9th -Noon-9pm, Friday July 10th 9am-9pm & Sat. July 11th 7AM-2PM. You will not be allowed in after 2pm.
      Camping Check out: 12 (Noon) Sunday July 12th *MUST SHOW PHOTO ID UPON CHECK-IN TO CAMPING AREA
    10. SET-UP: You will be assigned a setup time based on your location. Setup begins at 7a.m. on Saturday July 11, 2020. We will allot space as applications are received.
    11. (Honda Style) and have enough amperage to service your booth HYDRO/WATER: Are not supplied, you must bring your own. Generators may be used, but must be quiet.
    12. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED AT THE SAME TIME AS APPLICATION SUBMITTED FOR CONFIRMATION OF YOUR SPACE(S). THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE – NO REFUNDS

    The undersigned parties: the concession operator, hereinafter referred to as the VENDOR, and Hogtown Cycle & Township of Lucan Biddulph, hereinafter referred to as the HOGTOWN & TOWNSHIP, do agree as follows:

    1. That the HOGTOWN &TOWNSHIP is in charge of the site and the festivities within
    2. All electrical requirements must be provided by the VENDOR. Generators must be quiet (Honda Style) and have enough amperage for service for your booth. VENDORS with food trucks must have the trucks CSA certified and have a valid TSSA inspection report.
    3. The VENDOR shall procure and provide at his own expense, the necessary insurance, and all other licenses for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of this contract.
    4. Vendors minimum hours of operation are 10:00am-7:00 pm on Saturday July 13, 2019 and agree to stay for the full time of the show. Vendors are required to begin setting up at 7:00am on this date. * Extended hours in ball diamond area the vendors are required to stay until all concerts are finished and the public have vacated the premises.* You will receive a form with setup, parking and location information once your application is received and approved.
    5. The VENDOR releases HOGTOWN & TOWNSHIP of all liability of any and all bodily injury which may be sustained by the VENDOR or any of its workers. All HAZARDOUS FOOD VENDORS must provide to the TOWNSHIP a certificate of insurance. The certificate must provide General Liability insurance in a minimum amount of $2,000,000 naming the HOGTOWN & TOWNSHIP as an Additional Insured.
    6. POWER AND WATER ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON SITE. PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR OWN.
    7. The VENDOR shall remove all structure/ booths/ vehicles/ items from the show area by 7:30 PM on July 11, 2020.
    8. FOOD VENDORS are required to use grease traps. A location will be provided for dumping grease.
    9. NO alcoholic beverages shall be consumed, dispensed from, or sold from any concession operating during Baconfest.
    10. Compliance with both Provincial and Federal Sales Tax Regulations is the responsibility of the individual VENDOR.
    11. FOOD VENDORS: At least one person on site must have completed and hold a valid ‘Safe Food Handlers Course.
    12. All vendors are required to provide one 5 lb fire extinguisher for their booth, and are responsible for complying with local building, fire, health codes, regulations and licensing. Food truck vendors must have had their fire equipment inspected within the last 12 months and must have a proper fire suppression system if needed and proper K class extinguisher.
    13. VENDOR will obtain prior approval from the TOWNSHIP and HOGTOWN CYCLES for all items that they intend to sell. Any permits relating to the item you are selling are the responsibility of the VENDOR,HOGTOWN & THE TOWNSHIP reserves the right to fix the location from which the VENDOR shall operate.
    14. The FOOD VENDORS shall complete a ‘Special Events Food Vendor Form’ from the MLHU which can be found on lucanbaconfest.ca and must be submitted to baconfest1@gmail.com by June 1, 2020. Failure to do so will void your spot, location and funds are non refundable.
    15. The deadline for this form is June 1, 2020.
    16. * All spaces are subject to 13% HST*
    17. Spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. I have read the rules and responsibilities and I agree to comply with same.
  • All Fees are payable by Etransfer to baconfest1@gmail.com The PASSWORD is Bacon or mail or drop off a cheque to in the name of J and R Events with your information in memo to Hogtown Cycles (33656 Denfield Rd. Lucan, ON N0M 2J0) Please add 13 % HST to the total amount and have your Name/Business name attached to the transfer. All charges are non-refundable.
