Describe the Nominee's significant ties to Colorado (examples include: born and raised in the state, educated here, what books were written about Colorado, based on Colorado, uses Colorado locations or stories as a background, etc.).
Provide essential biographical information on the nominee including major achievements, contributions, education/training, professional/work history and honors/awards received. The judges do not look up work or track down books--it's the Nominator's task to create the brags so the judges can know of the WHY you are nominating your outstanding author to the Hall.
Criteria Questions:
1. Describe how the nominee has made significant and enduring contributions to publishing (40%)
2. Describe the specific ways in which the nominee and his or her published work has done to bring awareness to a situation; to solve problems and deliver solutions; to enhance the entertainment of others, etc. (40%).
3. Describe the characteristics that make the author a role model for other authors … as well readers of their book(s). Identify specific positive changes that the nominee's contributions have made that will inspire others, by published work and outreaches to communities, causes, fans (20%).
