My Letter to Pain
What is your letter to pain? My Letter to Pain, a project for the Global Alliance of Partners for Pain Advocacy (GAPPA), hopes to learn more about pain through the words and expressions of people within the pain community. This includes those living with pain, those who care for someone living with pain, and those who research, treat, or teach about pain. We all have different perspectives on pain. By bringing those perspectives together we hope to start new conversations about pain. Through raising awareness of our different perspectives and experiences we aim to improve communication between all those who are in the pain community and identify directions for future research, programming, education, outreach, and advocacy. With My Letter to Pain, everyone has the opportunity to share their unique views on pain. This can take the form of an actual letter or can be written as a poem, journal entry, or other written text. What would you like to share?
