    North Central Co-op supports initiatives that matter to you, your neighbour and your community. Every year, we give back approximately $300,000 to local causes, groups and organizations. Please read about the different ways that we can help provide support to your initiative below.
    • Fuel Good Day (Closes May 27th) 

    • We are excited to once again be hosting Fuel Good Day on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020! We will be donating 5 cents per every litre of fuel sold that day to deserving registered charities or non-profit organizations. Last year, we proudly donated $15,000 to four charities and non-profits in the North Central Co-op trading area! Fill out our community support application and reference Fuel Good Day in the "Additional Information" section to apply for the funds.

      Deadline for all applications is May 27th. All applications will be reviewed and the chosen recipients of Fuel Good Day will be contacted by June 3rd. 

    • Fundraising 

    • To help non-profit, local organizations and community groups achieve their fundraising goals, we offer support in one of two ways:

      Gift Card Fundraising
      We offer a discount on gift cards to schools, sports teams, non-profit organizations and other groups all year long! Using the discount, your group can raise funds on everyday purchases like fuel, grocery and harware. Your group receives 10% of the total amount of CO-OP® Gift Cards sold during your fundraiser.

    • To help reduce plastic waste, we now charge five cents for our plastic bags. From the money collected, we donate three cents to local community groups. To apply for these funds, please fill out this application and reference Bags for Change in the "Additional Information" section.

    • Donation 

    • Non-profit, local organizations and community groups that are looking for cash or in-kind donations can request support by filling out this application form. 

      **Please note, we are unable to donate to individuals (fundraising for walk/run/ride) or organizations outside the area we serve (1 hour around the Edmonton area).

    • Sponsorship 

    • We are always looking to build impactful relationships with like-minded organizations, charities and community groups that strive to improve the lives of our members and customers in the areas of youth education, recreation, community, health and wellness, and environment.

      We give priority to local initiatives, fundraisers and events that benefit our members and customers in the communities that we live, work and play. To apply for sponsorship, please fill out this application.

  • Thank you for taking the time to apply for support. Please be aware that submitting a application does not guarantee your organization will receive support. While we believe almost every request is worthwhile and deserving, due to the large volume of applications, we may not be able to support your specific initiative at this time.

    Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis by an employee-led committee. To help the most number of initiatives, we may choose only to support one request per year. If your application is approved, a committee member will contact you directly.

    We give priority to initiatives that support and benefit our community, employees, members and customers.
