Note:
*Beneficial interest includes ownership of shares by yourself, your immediate family or by a closely connected person. The ownership may be direct, or as beneficiary of a trust, or as adirector of a trustee investment or as an investor of an Investment Plan which holds such investments.
The following will normally be regarded as being closely connected with a person:
- spouse or domestic partner, except in the case of a spouse from whom the person is separated or a shareholding of a spouse or domestic partner of whose financial affairs the person has been denied knowledge.
- minor children, including stepchildren; and
- a company in which he/she has a 20 per cent or more interest.
In all considerations of the independence of a person or firm, regard must be given to the substance of a relationship. The above list is not, therefore, exhaustive.
