    Use this form to request permission to compete at Miss Oregon or Miss Oregon's Teen as a fair/festival titleholder. You must currently hold said title.

  • If you won a judged event and would like to represent that event or title in the Miss Oregon Scholarship Competition, here are the details & application.  Please read all information carefully. If you have questions, please contact the MOSP Executive Director at directors@missoregon.org prior to submitting your application.

    If accepted, the fee is $500 which includes an official Miss America local titleholder sash.  

    NOTE:  Applicant is prohibited from using the official title and regalia prior to state organization approval of application and notification to the applicant that she has been accepted as a contestant. Additionally, approved delegates are prohibited from using the title and wearing regalia after the completion of State Finals.

    Miss Oregon Fair & Festival Titleholder Requirements:

    1. Have a positive, energetic, optimistic, driven attitude that is ready to have fun!

                                                                                                               
    2. Meet all the age eligibility requirements:

    The eligible age range for any Miss Delegate Applicant (Contestant) for the  current competition cycle year at every level of MAO Miss is 18 to 28 years old. To eliminate any doubt, any Miss Delegate Applicant must be at least 18 years of age or no more than 27 years of age on the day of State Finals.  Teen applicants must be at least 14 years of age or no more than 17 years of age on the day of State Finals.  

    3. Meet all other eligibilty guidelines set forth by the Miss America Delegate Contract.

    4. Complete all program and production paperwork and other requirements. Complete information may be found in the Contestant Resource Portals. Links will be provided upon approval of application.

    5. Be available for the following mandatory events/dates:

    Delegate/Parent/Guardian In-Person Spring Workshop
    April 27, 2025 in Coos Bay/North Bend, Oregon
    **It is highly recommended that a parent/guardian join the delegate at Workshop. It is required for Teen delegates.

    Miss Oregon & Miss Oregon's Teen Competitions
    June 23-28, 2025 in Seaside, Oregon
    Miss delegates will be given the option of a home stay during Miss Oregon Week. If they choose not to stay with a host family, lodging will be the responsibility of the delegate and/or her family. Other expenses are the responsibility of the delegate and/or her family.

    Miss America & Miss America's Teen Competitions
    Official Competition Dates:  January 2026 (exact dates TBA)
    Location: Orlando, FL
    Entry fee and airfare of Miss Oregon provided by the Miss Oregon Scholarship Program. Lodging and meals during travel days and the required competition days are provided. Lodging and meals for dates prior to the official check-in or after the official check-out is the responsibility of Miss Oregon and/or her family.

     

    Submit the non-refundable participation fee of $500.00. Need a payment plan? Email us at directors@missoregon.org with "At-Large Contestant Payment Plan" in the subject line and we'll see what we can work out.

    Included with your non-refundable participation fee is:

    • Official Miss Oregon title and Miss America sash embroidered with at-large title (title to be determined by the state organization).
    • 2025 Spring Delegate Workshop fee.
    • Entry to compete in the 2025 Miss Oregon Competition.
    • Entrance into any ticketed events held during the 2025 Miss Oregon Competition.
    • Entrance to the 2025 Miss Oregon's Teen Competition. Miss Contestants will be given specific reserved seating.
    • Entrance to the Awards Brunch held during Miss Oregon Competition week.
    • Appearance in the 2025 Miss Oregon Parade.
    • A crown is not included with the participation fee. If you would like to purchase one, you may indicate so below.

    FURTHER REQUIREMENTS POST APPLICATION APPROVAL:

    • Collect sponsors for A MINIMUM OF ONE MANDATORY PROGRAM BOOK AD PAGES. Ad pages are $400 each. Ad pages beyond the first will earn the at-large delegate additional monies to offset competition expenses. Information to be found in the contestant's resource portal.     • Provide a mandatory silent auction basket to be auctioned off during the state competition. Information to be found in the contestant's resource portal. Link available upon application approval.
    • All competition wardrobe is the sole responsibility of the delegate. This includes: interview, talent, evening gown, off night evening gown (not required), required production wardrobe, media tour outfit, official headshot outfit, and clean/appropriate shoes and accessories for each wardrobe change listed.     • Be committed to volunteering within your community. Provide an official Community Service Initiative Statement outlining and detailing your chosen social cause and what you have done and will do to support this cause during your year of service. This will be used during your interview portion of competition. To be submitted within the contestant's resource portal. Link available upon application approval.
    • Create a Fact Sheet that will be used during your interview portion of competition. To be submitted within the contestant's resource portal. Link available upon application approval.
    • Prepare a 90-second talent presentation that may be publicized by the Miss Oregon Scholarship Program. Further information to be found in the contestant's resource portal. Link available upon application approval.
      Register to fundraise for the Miss America's Scholarship Foundation via Spotfund.com. Additional information available within the contestant's resource portal.
    • Recruit a youth aged 5 to 12 to participate in Miss Oregon's Shining Stars program during the 2025 Miss Oregon Competition. Additional information will be provided at the Delegate Workshop.
    • Required to sell ten (10) 50/50 raffle tickets. Tickets will be proivided at Workshop and funds will be due at check-in for Miss Oregon Competition.

  • Payment Information 

    • The Fair & Festival Titleholder registration fee is $500.00. Please see details above about what is included with this fee.
    • An invoice will be emailed to the delegate following approval of this application. Payment must be received within 7 days of receipt, unless a payment plan has been approved. All additional forms and paperwork must be received within two weeks of the approval date. If paperwork and payment are not received within that time-frame, the delegate will NOT be able to continue as a titleholder or compete at the state competition.
    • If you need to arrange for a payment plan, please contact us at directors@missoregon.org with "At-Large Delegate Payment Plan" as the subject. We cannot guarantee a payment plan will be approved, but will do our best to work something out. If full payment has not been received by June 3, 2024, the delegate will NOT be able to continue as a titleholder or compete at the state competition.
    • Official titleholder sash will NOT be ordered without a completed application with fee paid in full. It can take up to 6 weeks to receive a sash from the vendor. It is possible that your sash may not arrive until after the State Competition. If you would like to pay for rush delivery of your sash, that can be arranged. For the elimination of doubt, if full payment is received AFTER May 5, 2024 you will likely NOT receive your sash prior to the State Competition.
    • A crown may be purchased for $122.00 plus shipping. Shipping charges range anywhere from $22.00 to $150.00 based on shipping method and speed. The crown vendor does not guarantee shipping timelines. MOSP cannot guarantee delivery or arrival time for crowns ordered from the third party vendor. It can take up to 6 weeks to receive a crown from the vendor with standard shipping. It is possible that your crown will not arrive until after the State Competition. For the elimination of doubt, if full payment for the crown is received AFTER May 5, 2024 you will likely NOT receive your crown prior to the State Competition.
    • All payments are non-refundable.
  • If you would like to purchase a crown at your own expense, including the cost of the crown plus shipping (options will be offered according to availablilty from vendor).  Please understand that MOSP cannot guarantee a delivery or arrival time and you may receive your crown after the State Competition.
