Weather Policy: In the event of weather conditions out of our control:Due to photography equipment and lighting conditions, it is the photographer’s discretion if weather conditions are such that the session must be cancelled or changed to a wet weather location. If cancelled you will receive a full refund or option to reschedule.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: If you must cancel, Port Douglas Wedding Photography must be notified (7) days prior to the session date to qualify for a refund of the retainer. If notification is not made 7 days prior, your session retainer will be forfeited.
Props: The CLIENT is responsible for bringing any props that they would like in their photos in addition to what is supplied.
Appearance: In the event that the CLIENT would like additional photos due to appearance out of the photographer’s control (hair/makeup, etc in the session, the CLIENT will be charged for an additional session at the photographer’s hourly rate to reschedule or shoot additional photos.
Additional Members: Mini Sessions are limited times include one model. In the event that the CLIENT wants to add additional family members/friends/pets in the mini session, they will be a required to book an additional time slot ($30 retainer) to accommodate for the time it takes to photograph the additional models, as well as a signed model release at the time of the session.
Outfits: The mini session times are 5 minutes - any costume changes are included in the allocated time.
What to Wear: Plain clothes (no bold prints or brands) in neutral hues look great! However these sessions are about YOU so should you like to differ from this we are on board! We understand that some clients may like to use this opportunity to dress in particular themes/clothes/colours - we look forward to seeing your outfits!
Tardiness: In the event that the CLIENT is late to the appointment set, the CLIENT’S session will still be for the same scheduled ending time.
Security Retainers: A retainer will be taken to secure your mini session allocation. In the event of cancellation outside of 7 days of the photo shoot, where your allocated time has been unable to be resold, the retainer amount is non-refundable.
Completion Schedule: Editing and image delivery takes approximately 1-2 weeks after you have selected the images you would like edited, but may take longer. In the event that image delivery is outside of this time, the CLIENT will be notified via email before the due date. We understand that a lot of these photoshoots are for the purpose of announcements and and gifts so as long as selections for your included images are made by the following morning of your private album being posted we will have them to you within the timeframe given, if not before.
