    Welcome to the Kapiti Coast Archery Club!  We have an exciting year planned and look forward to seeing you enjoy the wonderful facility we have here in the beautiful Kapiti Coast.

    There are many benefits to club membership:

    Club shooting event every Sunday

    Many other shooting opportunities (see calendar)

    Members may purchase a key to access the premises at other times (once trained)

    Members may seek help and advice from our experienced Instructors

    Membership includes membership of our national governing body, the NZ Field Archery Association (NZFAA).

    The preceding information is collected in order to:

    • Inform you of club events and other club-related information
    • Place you in the correct shooting division (gender/age)
    • Contact you or your nominated person(s) in the event of an emergency
    • Record, administer and publish your archery scores
    • Record membership currency.

    Some information will be provided to the NZFAA for membership and administrative purposes only.  In the event that the club submits grant applications, some information may be required by the grant provider.

    We will not share club members’ information with any other third party, except if required to by NZ authorities under NZ law.

    You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact secretary@kcac.org.nz.

  • Membership Conditions:

    We require members to follow all safety rules, at all times.  These include, but are not limited to:

    • Arrows must only be shot at a target, when all other people are alongside or behind the shooter
    • Under no circumstances should arrows be shot upwards, into the air
    • When shooting a course, archers should proceed only in ‘forward’ direction towards the next target in sequence
    • Archers may not enter or leave a ‘live’ course, during an event
    • Archers may not shoot under the influence of alcohol or other drugs
    • Members displaying unsafe or antisocial behaviour will be asked to leave the course.  Repeat offence or gross misconduct may result in membership cancellation.  Refund of any fees, in full or in part, will be entirely at the discretion of the committee.

    Although the club will endeavour to ensure the highest possible safety standards, KCAC will not be held responsible for the actions of individual members or guests.  Members accept responsibly for their own actions, particularly with regards to their safety and the safety of others or their property.

    Any items of property brought onto club grounds is entirely at members’ own risk.

    Members who borrow or hire club property do so at their own risk and agree to replace it if lost or broken.
