*Please make sure you are committed to wanting to adopt before submission. FBS is ALL VOLUNTEER based and we all have "regular" jobs and families. Processing applications is just one of many tasks we have to make sure we are able to save lives.

*Incomplete/incorrect applications will not be processed. Common mistakes are missing or incorrect phone numbers.

*Please know we cannot approve everyone for the same cat or kitten. If you're not chosen it doesn't mean you are unfit for adoption. Please consider listing more than one animal you maybe interested in on your application or let us know if another cat in the future fits your lifestyle.

*Please feel free to stay in contact with us via email. It is just two of us that run daily operations and sometimes we need a reminder! We appreciate your patience!

*Meet and greets are primarily scheduled on weekends! FBS is run by dedicated volunteers who have full time jobs as well.

*If a meet and greet is scheduled and the animal is a fit, we expect the adoption to be finalized at that time and they will be able to leave with you. Plan ahead please.

*We do not ship, transport, or do Zoom/Skype calls for you to meet the animals.
