How to price your items: Decide what dollar amount you want to receive and divide by .80 – the answer will tell you the minimum dollar amount you must price your item at. (For a 80/20 split)
Examples: 1) You want to receive $10.00 for an item: $10 divided by .80 = $12.50 $12.50 is the amount you should price your item to receive $10.00
2) You want to receive $17.50 for an item: $17.50 divided by .80 = $21.88 $21.88 is the amount you should price your item to receive $17.50
Setting Up: You bring your inventory to the Massena Chamber office on 16 Church St. Massena NY. All inventory should be labeled and priced according to the inventory sheet that is handed into the office. Any items not labeled will not be displayed or sold until properly labeled.
Restocking: To restock print out an empty inventory sheet and fill out normally. The sheet must be brought in or emailed to the Massena Chamber before inventory can be displayed.
Online Store: Inventory under 5 lbs will be added to our online gift store.
Rate: To sell at our office gift store the rate is an 80/20 split.
This agreement is made effective this (application date) __________________, until __________________ (“consignor”) and the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce (“consignee”; “Chamber”)
Consignor shall deliver to the Office Gift Store the following goods: (attach list with pricing) Consignor shall be responsible for shipping/delivery costs to the Chamber. The Chamber promises to store the goods carefully and protect them from loss, damage or deterioration to the best of its ability. Consignee will be responsible for ticketed pricing of all items and have list at store. Goods will remain the property of the consignor until sold to customers by consigner volunteers and employees supervised by the Chamber. Any unsold goods will be returned to the consignor at closing date. Proceeds of sales of the goods will be held in trust by the Chamber until accounted for and remitted to the consignor. The Chamber promises to keep accurate, computerized records of sales made of the consignor’s goods, and to split the proceeds of all sales 80/20, with the consignor receiving 80% and the Chamber 20%. The consignor’s share of sales will be remitted no later than 30 days following the end of sales activities.All income taxes on proceeds to the consignor shall be paid by the Consignor. All sales taxes on sales made by the Chamber will be paid by the Chamber. The term of this agreement shall begin (application date)__________________ and shall remain in force until __________________ or until either Party gives at least 10 days prior written notice to terminate this agreement. Upon termination, the Chamber shall return all Consigned Goods to the consignor and shall arrange for payment of the Proceeds of sales owed.
