  • Dear Parents,

To ensure our Vacation Care program remains engaging and responsive to the children’s interests, we have planned a major experience or activity for each day. Alongside these, our educators will collaborate with the children to plan a range of smaller experiences based on their ideas and preferences on the day.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the daily program, please don’t hesitate to speak with a member of our OSHC Team.

    Kind regards,
    The Oaklands OSHC Team

  • Today, we’ll be joined by the Street Science Team for a hands-on rocket science adventure! Each child will design and build a small rocket using plastic and foam, decorate it, and then take it outside for launch. With a bit of focus (and curiosity), these rockets can soar impressively high. Along the way, kids will experiment with forces like thrust, drag, and stability—using real physics principles to tweak their designs and change how their rockets fly. It’s creative, experimental, and very legit science.
