The Middle East will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - GCC countries (to include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine Territories and Turkey.
Central and South Asia will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Africa will be defined by any of the countries that make up the continent of Africa.
ABOUT THIS CATEGORY
This award will recognise any initiative that develops IoT with regards to the consumer. As the Internet of Things enters its commercial phase, successful entries are those that demonstrate significant advancements in the technology of IoT or those that gained significant commercial benefits. IoT implementations with regards to the consumer include connected cards, smart devices, smart homes, etc.
