Club By-Laws

1. The Trip Leader is responsible for the safe running of the trip. Any deviation from the planned trip will not be undertaken by any member without permission from the Trip Leader.
2. No Member shall leave a trip without communicating to the Trip Leader the Member’s intentions and possible route.
3. Members shall be responsible for their own vehicles, ensuring it is in a sound mechanical condition and the Member has adequate supplies.
4. Members shall comply with the requirements and Regulations of the Road Safety Act 1986 and observe road courtesy.
5. CFA restrictions and supporting Regulations shall be observed at all times.
6. Members must consider environmental impact prior to proceeding off-road.
7. No alcohol is to be consumed while driving.
8. Carry in = carry out. Prior to breaking camp, Members shall clean the campsite of all rubbish.
9. The following items are prohibited on all trips:
   1. Firearms
   2. Trail bikes and other off-road vehicles
   3. Dogs, cats, and other animals. (written permission from the Trip Leader may exempt this By-Law in whole or part)
10. Unruly and irresponsible behaviour will not be tolerated.
