    Crux Craft Fair will be open

    • Friday 27th November: 12pm - 6pm
    • Saturday 28th November: 10am - 5pm
    • Sunday 29th November: 10am - 4pm

    Cost

    • £200 for a standard 6ft x 4ft stand

    The submission deadline is midnight Friday 20th March 2025.

  • Your Craft

    Please send us six images that are representative of your work.
  • The images should be representative of the sort of work that you plan to exhibit.

    The images may be used on the Crux Craft Fair website, however, there will be an opportunity to provide alternative photos for promotional purposes.

    It must be your own work, no bought in craft will be allowed.

    These photos need to be good quality, preferably with the work shown against a plain background.

    The selection panel makes a decision on the basis of these images.

    Please ensure that they cover all aspects of the work you intend to sell and the retail price range.

  • Stall Requirements

    Our standard stall areas are 6ft x 4ft. We can offer a 6ft x 2.5ft table to fit this space if required, free of charge.

  • Additional information

    Please read carefully before submitting your application.
    • Standard stalls have 6ft frontage.

    • There are power points at intervals around the hall, you may have to provide an extension cable; we will provide tape to stick it down under the stand and a rubber cover for the walkways. We cannot have loose wires and please no strong adhesive tape of your own.

    • Wall space is at a premium and will be allocated to those for whom it is essential. If you are placed in the centre of the hall please note that you will be backing onto another stall and there is a no shell scheme.

    • You will be able to set up on Friday 27th from no earlier than 9 am. We open to the public at 12 noon.

    Terms and Conditions

    • Craftspeople are expected to be on the stalls themselves each day (Friday 12pm – 6pm, Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm) selling their own handmade work.

    • Public liability insurance is taken out for the Fair, however you are also required to take out your own insurance. We need to see your insurance paperwork in advance, otherwise, our insurance is invalid. We will be contacting you for this, if you are successful, nearer the time.

    • Any electrical equipment you bring with you must be new or PAT-tested.

    • You are not allowed to screw or fix things into the dado rail or into the walls of the hall.

    • Crux Craft Fair is run entirely voluntarily by a small group of craftspeople and this keeps costs to you very low. Each year Crux Craft Fair supports a charity raising around £1,000 with a raffle of stall holders’ handmade work. A donation of a piece of your work (min. value of £20) is a condition of entry. Please be generous.

    • Your help with some of the jobs that need doing is much appreciated and we may ask you to take on a small task. Please help by clearing your area when the fair is over and taking your rubbish with you.

    Cancellation

    • Refunds will only be given if we are able to replace you with another craftsperson in a comparable craft from our waiting list, an administration charge of £25 will be incurred. No refunds will be given for cancellations during the 6 weeks before the fair.

    Publicity/Marketing

    • The images you have sent us with your application may be used on the Crux website and for publicity purposes. There will also be an opportunity to provide additional promotional photography should you be successful.

    • We also ask you to help us with publicity. Our best advertising is through your mailing list. Putting up posters and flyers in your local area helps us to reach a new audience, so too does all your social media activity, if you use this.
