To cancel your order, please read these conditions and complete the Cancellation Request Form included below.
Upon receipt of your request, BMD will notify you of the approval or rejection within five (5) business days. If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed within fifteen (15) days.
If you're cancelling a
rental order of a tangible product
, please complete the form below, and your request will be sent to management and/or the reseller for processing.
If you're returning a
purchase of a tangible product
, once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
To return your tangible product, please call BMD for the appropriate address. For many products, the return must be sent to the manufacturer or distributor to avoid additional processing fees.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
Returns for Warranty Repair and/or Warranty Replace, you must completed additional paperwork for the manufacturer. Please call BMD for more information.
Full Refund Eligibility:
You may request a cancellation and receive a refund up to and until the shipment of the product. For digital delivery, this translates to the first date of the license period. BMD will use the dates provided to them at the time of the order, unless corrected in advance of the first date.
Your order must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. For digital delivery, this would translate to the content not being downloaded and therefore being unused. If the content has been downloaded, the order is no longer in its original condition. For the avoidance of doubt, BMD monitors I.P. address activity, and any download activity on your account, regardless of date will forfeit our warranty for a full refund.
If the above requirements have been met, the following applies to any cancellation request for refund:
All requests must be made with BMD directly (not through a reseller) with this Order Cancellation Form.
You may incur a cancellation fee up-to 25% of your total order fee, depending upon the date of notice and any actual costs incurred by BMD (i.e. restocking fees from distributor, shipping costs, etc).
If your request does not meet the criteria listed above, there are certain situations where partial refunds (up-to 50% of the original fees paid) may be granted. If a partial refund is granted for tangible goods, your order may be subject to additional terms of the wholesaler, dealer or other related parties, and any costs associated with the return or cancellation will be deducted from any partial refund.
For digital products, eligibility for a partial refund must meet one or more of the following criteria; (i) software malfunction due to known error or bug, tested and proven to be non-responsive by BMD, (ii) hardware-related issue beyond user control (for example, if your projector will not sufficiently provide the desired image size or brightness; or your playback computer is not capable of serving images or videos). For the avoidance of doubt, personal preference is welcomed feedback for our product team, though it does not qualify your request for refund.
All partial refund requests are reviewed by management and granted on a case-by-base basis. If Full Refund Eligibility does not apply to your order, BMD does not gaurantee ANY refund.
Adjustments in Order:
If your order does not meet the criteria for a cancellation or any type of refund, BMD will continue to work with you to adjust your order. For digital products, we may grant access to an alternative digital product to meet your production needs. For tangile rentals, we may provide an upgrade or downgrade, with an adjustment in total fees. We want to work with you to find the most beneficial solution.
Cancellations due to acts of God (illness, death or weather), shall be rescheduled within six (6) months of the Rental Term. If not rescheduled, a service charge of 50% of the Rental Fees will be incurred. For the avoidance of doubt, changes in Performance Dates which require adjustment to Rental Term shall be classified as cancellations.
