An obituary is a way to give an overview and story of someone’s life after they’ve passed away. Standard obituaries usually include all of the standard details of someone’s life (date of birth, death, those they’re survived by, etc.) but it also gives an overview of what they’ve accomplished and were passionate about in their life. People will often write about how they affected communities around them or other people that were close to them, how their families came to be, what was important to them in their free time, etc.
